Wild Thing to Wheel

Props/Training Tools:

  • Mat or carpet

Prerequisite:

  • Wheel: You should be able to move into upward facing wheel/full version of flexibility bridge safely without a spot.



The transition from Wild Thing, or Dancer’s Bridge, to Wheel is widely used within gymnastics, acro dance, contortion and yoga, but can be tricky without a few pointers. Class will include approaches to build a both a technical understanding of the transition from Wild Thing to Wheel as well as the conditioning that can be modified to support the training process. This is an intermediate level class that will move through fundamental bridge and side plank variations at faster pace with less cueing.

Please note that online training does have added risk: There is no one there to spot you, ensure the safety of the area you are training in, the safety of equipment you are using, your readiness to train, or monitor your alignment and approach to training. Please understand that you participate at your own risk.

  • Release, Waiver and Indemnity: You hereby release, hold harmless, indemnify and waive any claims against BLK Yoga, BlK Works Inc, and Bronwen Kettleson with respect to any and all liability and damages incurred during, or in any way associated with, your participation in the Activities with BLK Yoga, BlK Works Inc, and Bronwen Kettleson, however caused, including as a result of the Released Parties’ negligence, including but not limited to damage to or loss of personal property, personal injuries, death, illness, or any cause of action related to premises liability.
