Bridge Variations

Class will begin with warm-up and conditioning drills for three bridge shapes: legs straight, single leg, and hands (closer) to feet. There will be a lead up to these bridge variations through conditioning drills that could be suitable to all levels. There will also be an option to practice these variations with the upper back/shoulders on the floor. Please note that the training of the bridge itself requires the ability to move in and out of it without a spot and with control. It is recommended that you train with a qualified coach in person who can spot you until you have the strength and mobility required to move in and out of this skill on your own safely. 


Please note that online training does have added risk: There is no one there to spot you, ensure the safety of the area you are training in, the safety of equipment you are using, your readiness to train, or monitor your alignment and approach to training. Please understand that you participate at your own risk.

  • Release, Waiver and Indemnity: You hereby release, hold harmless, indemnify and waive any claims against BLK Yoga, BlK Works Inc, and Bronwen Kettleson with respect to any and all liability and damages incurred during, or in any way associated with, your participation in the Activities with BLK Yoga, BlK Works Inc, and Bronwen Kettleson, however caused, including as a result of the Released Parties’ negligence, including but not limited to damage to or loss of personal property, personal injuries, death, illness, or any cause of action related to premises liability.
